Do you love capturing everyday moments and sharing your experience? This is your chance to turn your exchange year into content, inspire future students, and become an ISE Ambassador!Each year, ISE selects a group of exchange students from different countries, age groups, and English levels to be the faces of the program. They post videos throughout the school year school lunches, host family dinners, weekend trips, confusing moments, funny moments whatever their exchange year actually looks like
What is an ambassador?
ISE Ambassadors are current exchange students who help share the real exchange experience through social media and storytelling throughout the school year. As an ambassador, you’ll create content that gives future students a real look into everyday life on exchange. We’re looking for students who are creative, positive, and excited to share their journey. You don’t need to be a professional creator, just someone who’s ready to participate, create, and represent ISE in a fun and genuine way.
What student ambassadors do:
Represent ISE in a positive, creative, and authentic way online and offline
Help future students learn what exchange life is really like
Share school life, cultural exchange, travel, host family experiences, and everyday moments
Create TikToks, Reels, and short-form videos throughout the school year based on monthly topic lists and trending/seasonal themes provided by ISE
Attend monthly online meetings to connect with other ambassadors, share ideas, and stay updated throughout the year
Submit at least 3 videos per month
The ideal ambassador:
Current ISE exchange student (2026–2027)
Positive, enthusiastic, and motivated to represent the program
Open-minded and eager to connect with other students from different countries and backgrounds
Excited about cultural exchange
Willing to actively participate throughout the school year and engage in ambassador activities
Creative and confident in sharing personal experiences through content (photos, video, or writing)
Comfortable in front of the camera and speaking about their exchange experience

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
What if my English isn’t perfect?
That’s completely fine! We select ambassadors at all English levels. Real and authentic always matters more than sounding perfect, and sometimes the most genuine content is the most relatable.
How much time does it take each month?
Most ambassadors spend a few hours each month creating content, filming everyday moments, checking in with ISE, and participating in optional meetings. The program is meant to fit into your exchange year, not take it over.
What are the monthly meetings like?
The monthly meetings are online, casual, and a chance to connect with other ambassadors from around the world who are all experiencing exchange life at the same time. ISE uses these sessions to share updates, gather feedback, and develop content ideas together. They’re not mandatory, but most students who attend say they end up being one of the highlights of the program.
What if I get selected and then struggle to create 3 videos per month?
Talk to us! We understand that exchange life can get busy, and the goal of the program is to make your year more fun and memorable, not stressful. We’ll work with you throughout the year and support you along the way.
What happens after the exchange year ends?
You are invited to join the ISE alumni program. This keeps you connected to ISE and to the sending organization in your home country a network that has helped past ambassadors with internships, references, and friendships that lasted long after they returned home.
